Minitube 1.8.0 Released With Quicklists Support, Compact Mode

Minitube (YouTube desktop application) 1.8.0 has been released and is available in the main WebUpd8 PPA.

Changelog:

  • Enhanced Compact Mode: window on top, can be made smaller and remembers its own position
  • Adaptive video title font size
  • Unity & GNOME 3 actions (aka Quicklists)
  • Selecting a recent keyword now also sets the searchbox text
  • Fixed duplicate channel names in suggestions popup
  • Fixed playback not starting or being interrupted on Linux
  • New and updated translations

Important: Minitube may not be able to play videos under Ubuntu 12.04 (and other recent Linux distributions) without this work-around: Fix MP4 Playback In Ubuntu 12.04 [Gstreamer Bug Affecting Totem, Minitube, Etc.]
